A Clear Proposal
In its drive to generate revenue from waste land in a demarcated area, SAPCL can accept, tendering of waste land by its shareholders for cultivation/ use by SAPCL. As SAPCL is a Producer Company, any individuals meeting the criteria of membership can join the family of existing shareholders, through purchase of agriculture land followed by subscription to Company's shares. The minimums unit of land (in a designated, demarcated area) to be bought by an investor is 2 acres. Along with subscription to share of SAPCL, @520 shares per acre of land, the investor has to hand over possession of the land and cultivation right thereon to SAPCL as per the Articles of the company. SAPCL share with face value of Rs. 10 per share will be offered at premium prevailing at the time of purchase. Lands purchase by the shareholder have to be delivered to SAPCL for the purpose of integrated cultivation and sale of agri- produce required by industries and large horticulture buyers. Using its agriculture/ horticulture know how and proven marketing acumen, SAPCL will work to get maximum returns from every inch of land.
